A mega campaign of cleanliness is going on in 102 civic bodies of the state. Awareness about cleanliness is continuously increasing among the common people. It is the responsibility of every citizen to keep every district and tourist place of the state clean and beautiful. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said these things during the cleanliness campaign organized under the cleanliness week. He gave the message of cleanliness by sweeping the road outside Gandhi Park in Doon.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the cleanliness program organized under the cleanliness week. During this, he gave the message of cleanliness by sweeping from Gandhi Park to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Park. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored 10 Paryavaran Mitras, who have done excellent work in the field of cleanliness. Along with this, the general public was also administered an oath towards cleanliness.
Chief Minister Dhami said that various cleanliness programs are being organized with public participation to make Dehradun clean and beautiful. He urged the common people to make cleanliness their daily habit. The program of cleanliness is being taken forward with public awareness.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan took the form of a mass movement, the results of which are now visible. During this program, Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Dharampur MLA Vinod Chamoli, Cantt MLA Savita Kapoor, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and officers of Municipal Corporation were present in the programme.
Forest personnel started cleanliness campaign in Malsi range:
On the instructions of the High Court of Uttarakhand, the Forest Department also participated in the cleanliness campaign being run across the state. Under the leadership of BC Keshtwal, forest range officer of Malsi range of Dehradun forest division, a total of 10 kilometers of reserve forest area from supply post Anarwala to Kimadi village was cleaned. During this Govind Singh Nagarkoti, Akhilesh Kumar, Shailendra Rawat, Rakesh Kumar etc were present.
Minorities Commission launched a cleanliness campaign:
The Minority Commission made people aware by running a cleanliness drive in the Laxman Siddha temple. Commission Secretary JS Rawat explained in detail about the cleanliness drive. Priyanka Gusain, Farida Khatoon, Shama Praveen, Meenakshi Rawat, Naresh Manwal etc were present on this occasion.
