In the matter of disappearance of original records including registry forgery, the police have now started investigating the properties of the suspected officers and employees of the Deputy Registrar’s Office First and Second. In these, information of some suspects has been sought from the Income Tax Department. Investigation has revealed that there has been a huge increase in the income of some officers and employees, whose sources of income are being collected.
Many former officers and employees are also under suspicion in this forgery which took place due to the connivance of the registrar’s office and the land mafia. To investigate the forgery on behalf of Assistant Inspector General Registration Sandeep Srivastava, the names of the registrar clerk including the deputy registrar of the first and second sub-registrar’s office have also been made available to the police from the year 2000 till now. Some of them have retired, while many have also died. Apart from this, the police department has sought ITR of 27 persons, including some personnel and land mafia.

Let us tell you that the records of the Deputy Registrar’s office first and second were inspected in order of the complaint lodged on the District Magistrate’s Janata Darbar and other complaint counters. In this, prima facie a case of tampering with the records in the volumes held by the Deputy Registrar’s office has come to the fore.
Change ownership by manipulating records
According to the investigation report of the Additional District Magistrate, six registries/land records of the year 1978 and 1984 have been initially forged, in which the land mafia changed the ownership by manipulating the records and disappeared even the original records.
Variation in handwriting, ink, seal and page
According to investigation, variation in handwriting, ink, seal and page has been found in fake registries. While investigating the case, the City Kotwali Police has arrested Makhan Singh, resident of Village Naglia Khurd Police Station Madhav Tanda District Pilibhit Uttar Pradesh. Others may be arrested soon.
