
The first phase of the campaign will be started from Gandhi Shatabdi Hospital today. Under this campaign, the missed vaccines will be given to pregnant women and children from birth to five years in the district.
For the first time in the district, on-spot registration of vaccination will be done through U-Win portal. After vaccination, a digital vaccination card will be generated, which will always be safe in the portal and can be downloaded anytime.
First phase from 7 to 12 August
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Jain told that the ‘Mission Indradhanush’ campaign will run in three phases. The first phase will be conducted in the district from August 7 to 12, the second phase from September 11 to 16 and the third phase from October 9-14. During this, such pregnant women and children up to five years of age will be vaccinated, who could not get vaccinated due to some reason.
He has appealed to the public that children from birth to five years and pregnant women must get these vaccines.
Vaccination of 5557 children from birth to five years
District Immunization Officer Dr. Vandana Semwal informed that a total of 5557 children from birth to five years and 1690 pregnant women will be vaccinated during this campaign. Out of these 273 children are dropouts. They will be given the missed vaccines.
There will be 471 sessions in the district
Under this campaign, there will be 471 sessions in the district for vaccination. Beneficiary registration will be done through U-WIN portal before vaccination. This registration can be done through ANM/ASHA and also from the level of the beneficiary himself.
