Passing out parade of Indian Military Academy (IMA). The parade started with Marks Call on Saturday morning. Indian Army gets 355 young officers, while 39 cadets from friendly countries also passed out. Parade inspection officer, General Officer Commanding in Chief of Northern Command, Lieutenant General MV Suchendra Kumar took the salute of the parade. The inspection officer highlighted the rapidly changing nature of war amid technological advancements in space, cyber and information fields. He also emphasized the need to enhance technical competencies to work effectively in complex and competitive battlefields.
Indian Army gets 355 young military officers
After the peeping and oath ceremony held after the parade, a total of 394 officer cadets of the 154th Regular Course and 137th Technical Graduate Course joined the mainstream of the army of the country and abroad as lieutenants. Of these, 355 young military officers were given to the Indian Army. While 39 young military officers became an integral part of the army of friendly countries. Overall, on Saturday, the Military Academy got the honor of giving 65 thousand 628 young military officers to the army of the country and abroad. These include 2,953 military officers given to friendly countries.
