A Noida company was duped of Rs 1.90 crore by luring to rent helicopter for Chardham Yatra. The owner of the Noida company has filed a case against three directors of Dehradun’s Chandralekha Airlines in Cantt police station. It is alleged that Chandralekha Airlines also gave several cheques to the victim company to return the money, but they bounced. The company had to rent some helicopters for Chardham Yatra. For this, Dehradun’s Chandralekha Airlines’ directors Abhay Kumar, Dhirendra Kumar and Chandralekha Singh contacted. All of them are residents of Rajendra Nagar. All three had said that they have full authority to rent helicopters and told that they have acquired eight aviation companies.
Chandralekha Airlines promised to give six helicopters like Agusta Westland to Mac Charters Private Limited. According to the contract, Mac Charters paid Rs 1.90 crore to Chandralekha Airlines. All these helicopters were to be given to them in two installments between 15 May 2024 to 30 June 2024 and 15 September to 28 October 2024. But, as the date approached, all these people backed out. Despite repeated requests, the helicopter was not provided. Sadhu told the police, on this he got all the documents of Chandralekha Airlines investigated. It was found that all these documents were made false by the accused. The claims they made about the helicopter were also all wrong. These people also gave several cheques to return the money, but they bounced. SHO Cantt Kailash Chandra Bhatt said, on the complaint of Subhadeep Sadhu, a case has been registered against Abhay Kumar, Dhirendra Kumar and Chandralekha Singh.
