Children will read Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in the schools of the state. The Chief Minister has given instructions to include it in the curriculum. He said, a clear plan for the next 10 years should be worked out for innovations in the field of education. While reviewing the education department at the camp office on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, the department should make a silver celebration calendar of various activities in the field of education by December 2026. The CM directed to inspect all the schools of the state before the start of the monsoon. Said, along with the condition of the school roads and bridges, other basic facilities should also be seen. A proposal should be made by studying the best practices of other states for the facility of residential hostels in cluster schools. Ensure that better facilities are available to the children in the residential hostels. In the first phase, one residential hostel should be built in each district. At the same time, a proposal should be prepared soon for the transport system of the students coming within 15 km radius of 559 cluster schools. Children should get textbooks on time
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed to provide textbooks to children on time every year. At the same time, to ensure complete transparency in the transfer process in the department, he asked to study all aspects in depth and make a proposal. All aspects should be taken care of in district, division and state level cadre. NCC and NSS should be promoted in schools. Schools which do not have these facilities right now, should be selected. The Chief Minister said, to further improve the education system in the state, industrial establishments of the state should be requested for cooperation under CSR fund.
Strict action will be taken on negligence in the safety of children
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, special attention should be paid to the safety of children in schools. Strict action will be taken against those who are negligent in any matter related to the safety of children. A waiting list should also be made for full availability of students in Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalayas as per their capacity. Moral education, environmental education, cultural heritage of the state, mention of great men, skill development according to regional needs, health education, folk tales, folk literature, music and art should be included in the curriculum for children. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Education Secretary Ravinath Raman, Additional Secretary Ranjana, Director General Jharna Kamthan, Additional Secretary Basic Education MM Semwal, Director Secondary Education Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, Director Basic Education Ajay Nautiyad etc. were present in the meeting.
