Monsoon is wreaking havoc in Uttarakhand. Heavy life is being disrupted in the hilly areas. Chardham Yatra is also being disrupted repeatedly. In this sequence, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inquired from CM Dhami about the heavy rainfall in the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the phone and inquired about the situation of heavy rainfall in various disaster prone areas of the state including Kedarnath Dham. He assured to promptly deploy NDRF and ITBP to ensure smooth conduct of Chardham Yatra, so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. Along with this, he expressed his commitment to provide all possible assistance by keeping constant vigil in other sensitive districts of the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Union Home Minister on behalf of the state for this sensitive and active cooperation.
