Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level meeting in the secretariat on Wednesday and reviewed the state’s law and order, road status, service fortnight and other public interest related topics. In the meeting, he gave necessary guidelines to the officials and said that providing easy, safe and transparent system to the public is the top priority of the government. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions that strict action should be taken against those who play with law and order in the state. Regular monitoring should be ensured with CCTV cameras at all sensitive places. Intensive checking operations should be conducted on the boundaries of the state. The night patrolling by the police should be made more effective. The Chief Minister said that after the monsoon, a special campaign should be launched to make the roads pit free. After the rain, the tender process should be completed for the improvement of roads and to make the pit free. The Chief Minister said that the service fortnight will be organized across the state from September 17 to October 2, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on this occasion programs related to service, public awareness and public interest will be organized in all the districts.
He instructed the officials to prepare a detailed action plan for each district and implement it in a timely manner. The Chief Minister said that he himself will visit various districts by road and take direct review of various arrangements. The Chief Minister took the complaint related to sand mixed salt seriously and directed to take an immediate sample and investigate. He said that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the investigation. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Chief Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Director General of Police Deepam Seth, Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate and Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari.
