Uttarakhand’s acting Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar paid a courtesy call on National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval in New Delhi. He briefed the NSA on the internal security of the state and sought their guidance in dealing with the challenges. In the strategically important Uttarakhand, the Central Government is very serious about all the border issues ranging from internal security. Along with China, the borders of Nepal and China-occupied Tibet also share with Uttarakhand. There is often movement on these borders from the respective countries.
Keeping in mind the expansionist policies of China, the Central Government also takes feedback from Uttarakhand Police and other intelligence agencies from time to time. In this sequence, Uttarakhand’s acting DGP Abhinav Kumar met the NSA on Wednesday and informed about many important issues and also informed about the action being taken.

Ajit Doval is originally from Pauri district of Uttarakhand and has been the Chief of top intelligence agency RA. He has been the National Security Advisor for a long time. Acting DGP Abhinav Kumar said that Uttarakhand is surrounded by the borders of many countries and states. In such a situation, there are various challenges before the state police. He has received guidance from NSA. Apart from this, he also paid a courtesy call on CBI Director Praveen Sood in Delhi.
