Adani Group is interested in investing Rs 500 crore in the field of agriculture and horticulture in the state. The delegation of Adani Group expressed this desire during a meeting with Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi. The minister gave positive assurance on behalf of the government and assured prompt action in the matter. During the meeting with Agriculture Minister Joshi, the delegation of Adani Group discussed various aspects in view of the possibilities of investment in the field of agriculture and horticulture in the state. Minister Joshi said that the geographical conditions and agro-climatic zones of the state are favorable for the production of various horticultural crops. Horticulture in the state is a field with immense potential.
He said that as a result of investment friendly policies, today Uttarakhand is emerging as a new center point for investors in every field. Apart from Adani Group’s Head Corporate Affairs North Anand Singh Bhasin and General Manager RK Pandey, Managing Director of Uttarakhand Organic Board Vinay Kumar was also present in the delegation.
