The I.N.D.I.A alliance will be seen again in the assembly by-elections to be held in Badrinath and Mangalore (Manglaur By Election) in the state. All the parties involved in the I.N.D.I.A alliance have decided to campaign in favor of Congress candidates on both these seats. Congress State President Karan Mahara said that the I.N.D.I alliance will fight the by-election strongly and win both the seats. On Sunday, a meeting of the I.N.D.I.A alliance and members of civil society was held in Congress Bhawan under the chairmanship of State Congress President Karan Mahara. In the meeting, the Congress State President said that the alliance performed very well in the Lok Sabha elections. Now by fighting the elections in Badrinath and Mangalore assembly by-elections with unity, we will fight strongly against the disruptive policies of BJP and register victory.
Congress’s vote percentage increased
He said that the Congress party has made grassroots workers with clean image as its candidates. Both the candidates of Congress have a history of struggle for the people. He said that even though the Congress candidates could not win in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the vote percentage of Congress has increased significantly. On the other hand, BJP has lost its mass base. He said that the public will definitely stand with us in the Mangalore and Badrinath by-elections. Both the Congress candidates will win with a huge majority with the support of the alliance. It was decided unanimously in the meeting that the next meeting of the alliance will be held on June 29 in Mangalore and on July 1 in Gopeshwar. In the meeting, Nandini Arya was made the Internet Media Incharge of the Alliance and Civil Society in the by-elections.
CPI-MLK State Secretary Indresh Maikhuri, Insaniyat Manch’s Ravi Chopra, CPI’s National Council Member Samar Bhandari, Samajwadi Party’s National Secretary Dr. SN Sachan, Mahila Manch’s State President Nirmala Bisht, Kisan Sabha’s Surendra Sajwan, Congress State General Secretary Anand Rawat and State Spokesperson Sheeshpal Singh Bisht were present in the meeting.
