After finding monkeypox patients in various countries, the World Health Organization has expressed the possibility of its infection in India too. In such a situation, the health department of the state has also become alert. The health department has issued guidelines to all the chief medical officers. In which instructions have been given for continuous monitoring to prevent the disease. Contact tracing has been asked if any suspected patient is found. Also, all the government hospitals of the state have been put on alert mode. However, till now not a single case of monkeypox has been reported in the state.
