41 workers rescued from the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi were brought to AIIMS Rishikesh in a Chinook helicopter on Wednesday afternoon. During investigation here everyone was found healthy. Now his detailed medical examination is being conducted. Some samples have been taken, whose report will be received by Thursday. The workers have been kept under the supervision of psychiatrists and medicine experts. Executive Director of AIIMS Prof. Meenu Singh said that all the workers are healthy. At present, he needs rest and a balanced diet, hence he has been advised to consume plenty of water and juice.
Told that intensive investigation of the health of the workers is going on. The team of psychiatrists is also examining his mental health and if needed, cooperation will also be taken from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Before being taken to AIIMS, the workers were kept under the observation of doctors at Chinyalisaur Community Health Center in Uttarkashi.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached there and inquired about their condition and presented a check of Rs 1 lakh to each worker. During this, the Chief Minister also announced to give incentive amount of Rs 50-50 thousand to the members of Rat Miners Team. He said that after testing at AIIMS, the workers will be sent home soon. The Chief Minister spoke on mobile phone to the mother of Pushkar Airi, a resident of Tanakpur, who was among the workers, and informed her about her son’s health.
Navayug company will give Rs 2 lakh each to workers
Navyug Engineering Company will provide assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to all 41 workers. This amount will be sent to their account. Along with this, it has also been announced to give two months bonus to all the 400 workers working in the tunnel.
Morari Bapu gave six lakhs
Storyteller Morari Bapu gave Rs 6 lakh 15 thousand as financial assistance to the workers evacuated from the tunnel. On Wednesday, the narrator obtained the bank account numbers of the laborers from the Chief Minister’s Office and deposited Rs 15,000 in the account of each laborer. He appreciated everyone’s patience.
