The delegation of Contractual and Unemployed Nursing Officers Federation met Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat at his residence in Yamuna Colony and wished him a Happy New Year. Also requested to give appointment letters to 1376 selected nursing officers as soon as possible. The Health Minister said that appointment letters will soon be issued to 1376 nursing officers in the office of the Chief Medical Officer in every district. Appointment letters will be distributed to all the selected officers in Tehri and Uttarkashi on January 8, Rudraprayag and Chamoli on January 9, Pauri on 10, Kumaon on 11, 12, 13 and Haridwar, Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar on January 14 and 15.
The Chief Minister will also provide appointment letters to the selected lab technicians this month. The posts of Lab Technician in the Health Department will also be filled year wise. He said that employment opportunities are continuously being opened for the unemployed. During this, State President Harikrishna Bijalwan, Treasurer Ravi Singh Rawat, Media Incharge Mahipal Singh Krishali, Secretary Govind Singh Rawat, Vice President Pushkar Singh Jeena, Neeraj Verma, Ashish Rana etc. were present.
