The activists of Bajrang Dal have submitted a memorandum to the President through the District Magistrate in protest against the killing of Bajrang Dal and policemen in the violence in Haryana’s Mewat district. The activists have demanded the President to conduct a high-level inquiry into the incident. On Wednesday, the workers of the organization started protesting at Lansdowne Chowk while raising slogans. During this, a large amount of police force was deployed.
Workers unitedly from the Chowk reached the Collectorate premises taking out a rally raising slogans via Budha Chowk, Doon Hospital. The workers staged a sit-in in the collectorate premises for an hour. During this, ADM Administration SK Baranwal tried to pacify the workers and appealed to the workers to hand over the memorandum to themselves.
Angry workers said that the memorandum will be handed over only to the District Magistrate. The workers did not listen to the police officers and ADM and demanded to call the District Magistrate. After a long time, District Magistrate Sonika reached near the workers and appealed to the workers to maintain peace. After this, the office bearers of the organization submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate demanding the strictest action.
