
The binders whose role was found suspicious in the registry fraud case have died. Both of them died under suspicious circumstances between 2019 and 2021. In such a situation, the SIT (Special Investigation Team), which is investigating the case, suspects that the gang involved in the fraud may have killed them. In such a situation, STF Registry has now started investigating the causes of death of binders along with fraud. Navratan Singh, who was a binder in the Sub Registrar Office, Dehradun from 2007 to 2017, died under suspicious circumstances in the year 2019. The cause of death was considered to be excessive alcohol consumption.
After this, the name of Binder Sonu came to light in the case of selling land worth crores located on Rajpur Road to a woman resident of England, who died under suspicious circumstances in the year 2021. Sonu was the brother-in-law of binder Ajay Chhetri, previously arrested in registry fraud. Ajay Kshetri was also a binder in the sub-registrar office.
Suspicion of conspiracy in Rambharose’s death case in Kothi case also
In the case of demolition of house in Clementtown, a person named Rambharose also died a few days after the incident. Rambharose was originally a resident of Saharanpur.
The gang had also prepared the property documents in the name of Rambharose. However, Rambharos never came to Dehradun. It is being told that he died just 10 days after the demolition of the house. In such a situation, doubts are being raised whether Ram Bharose was killed as part of a conspiracy.
The death of Binder and the person from Saharanpur will also be investigated.
SSP Ajay Singh said that apart from Binder Navratan Singh and Sonu, the death case of Rambharose of Saharanpur will be investigated in various cases related to land. He told that the matter is old, but still they will investigate the circumstances under which he died.
