The BJP has once again shocked the Congress in Haridwar district. A large number of village heads, councillors, office bearers of co-operative societies, including former incumbent Manoharlal Sharma, State General Secretary of Congress, Rishipal Balyan, joined the BJP on Friday.
State President of the party Mahendra Bhatt and Haridwar MP and former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank got them all to join the party in a program organized at the state BJP office. With this, BJP’s membership drive entered the third phase on Friday.
BJP State President Bhatt said in the program that all the people coming to BJP after being influenced by the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will be fully respected. He said that Prime Minister Modi has done incomparable work in the direction of making India great. He stressed on the active participation of each and every worker in other programs of the party including mass contact campaign.
Former Chief Minister Nishank said that India has known and the world has accepted the capability shown by Prime Minister Modi to convert vision into mission. He told the new members that they have come to the world’s biggest party under the wonderful leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Everyone has to cooperate in the mission of serving the nation.
On this occasion, State General Secretary Aditya Kothari also made all the new members get a missed call on the toll free number under the public relations campaign. Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal, MLA Vinod Chamoli, Pradeep Batra, former MLA Deshraj Karnwal, Aditya Chauhan, Madhu Bhatt, Shobharam Prajapati etc were present in the programme.
