With a view to achieve the goal of Congress-free Uttarakhand, the BJP has entrusted party MPs with the responsibility of 23 assembly seats in the state on which it had to face defeat. Party MPs will participate in other programs including night stay and tiffin meetings in these constituencies. Along with listening to the problems of the people, they will also work to solve them on the spot or take them to the government.
BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan gave the above information quoting state president Mahendra Bhatt. He said that the State President has fixed the responsibility of all the MPs (five Lok Sabha members and three Rajya Sabha members) in the electorally weak assembly constituencies of the state to achieve the goal of Congress-free Uttarakhand with 75 percent votes.
