BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra handed over the tricolor to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday held a meeting with representatives of various NGOs in connection with the ‘Har Ghar Tricolor’ program under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi at Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Sambit Patra handed over the tricolor to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt. The Chief Minister launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Uttarakhand from today.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of the country to run the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign on a large scale. Tricolor will be hoisted in 20 lakh houses in the state. NGOs and organizations of the state are also being taken along in this campaign. Along with Uttarakhand Dev Bhoomi, there is also Veer Bhoomi. The Chief Minister said that the brave fighters who gave their all for the freedom of India should always be remembered. Our new generation should know more and more about such sacrifices. In the nectar festival of independence, the nation is remembering these brave sacrifices of the country. He said that a new work culture has come in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 1250 Amrit Sarovar will be built in the state. The Chief Minister appealed to all the people of the state to use DP of the tricolor on social media accounts from August 02 and from August 13 to August 15, all should use the tricolor in their homes. On August 09, a tricolor yatra will be taken out in Dehradun.
Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra said that the Tricolor campaign is being conducted at every house under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. This is a program of patriotism. In this, from August 13 to August 15, all the countrymen have been requested to hoist the tricolor in their respective homes. It is not just a government programme. This is a mass movement in which everyone’s participation is necessary. He said that under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, a garlanding and cleanliness campaign would also be launched on the statues of the revolutionaries who were martyred for the freedom of the country. Publicity should be spread widely so that more and more people join it. In his Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister has appealed to put the national flag tricolor in the social media account as DP and profile pic. All organizations should be taken together. School children and youth should be told the glories related to the independence of the country.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Organization General Secretary Ajay Kumar, BJP State General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar, representatives of various NGOs and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
