BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt targeted former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat. He said that seeing the elections ahead, Rawat is insulting Veer Savarkar by glorifying Jinnah as part of his appeasement policy. He said that the nationalist people of the state will give a befitting reply to this attempt of appeasement when the time comes, like the issue of Muslim University.
The public completely rejected them
In an informal conversation with the media at the state BJP headquarters, Bhatt said that in the last assembly elections, information had come to light about how Congress leader Harish Rawat had given assurance of Muslim University to polarize minority votes. Then, being angry with this conspiracy made public by the Congress leaders themselves, the public completely rejected them in the elections. Now seeing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections as a last ditch effort, Rawat has once again started playing the appeasement card. He said that the nationalist people of Devbhoomi, which also includes the minority community, are not going to get trapped in these conspiracies of Rawat.
It is decided to come together for the progress of the state.
He welcomed two Congress MLAs praising the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pithoragarh. He said that whatever be the reason, whether it is the pressure on the public representatives from the people who are aspiring for development or the courage to accept the truth, it is certain that the opposition MLAs will join us for the progress of the state.

BJP State President Bhatt and State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar also inaugurated the newly constructed media-spokesperson office at the state BJP headquarters on Monday.
