Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya reached district headquarters Uttarkashi on Wednesday. He inspected Manera sports ground, badminton court, hostel. And gave necessary guidelines to the District Sports Officer. During the inspection, Cabinet Minister Smt. Arya also inquired about the facilities being provided to the children, and encouraged them by talking to them, and wished them a bright future. He said that seeing the increasing enthusiasm of girls towards sports, the parents have also changed their thoughts a lot. Now girls are being encouraged from the point of view of sports. He said that during the inspection the girls have demanded a coach. A coach will be appointed soon. He said that during the inspection no complaint was made by the girls living in the hostel. Regarding the diet chart of the players, he said that earlier their diet plate used to be ₹ 150, it has now been increased by ₹ 100 to ₹ 250 plate. Diet chart is better than before. For which the players are happy.
ADM Tirthpal Singh, SDM Meenakshi Patwal, CO Anuj Kumar, District Sports Officer Babita Bisht, District Youth Welfare Officer Vijay Pratap Bhandari etc were present during the inspection.
