BJP candidate Anil Baluni Pauri from Garhwal seat, Maharani Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah from Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun and Trivendra Singh Rawat from Haridwar will file nomination in Haridwar today. Congress candidate from Tehri seat, Jot Singh Gunsola, will also file nomination in Dehradun today. Trivendra Singh Rawat has already filed his nomination online, today he will present himself and file his nomination. Before nomination, BJP candidate from Haridwar parliamentary constituency Trivendra Singh Rawat performed Ganga puja and Durga Abhishek at Har Ki Pauri. After this, he will attend the core committee meeting of BJP to be held at Om Bio College for some time, after which he will take a procession for nomination.
Bahujan Samaj Party leaders will also file nomination
On behalf of Bahujan Samaj Party, former MLA of Jansath, Maulana Jamil Ahmed Kazmi will file his nomination from Haridwar parliamentary constituency today. Before nomination, BSP will attend the meeting at the state office and from there along with five workers will go to the collectorate for nomination. This was confirmed by BSP state president Sheeshpal. He told that at present there is no program of show of strength by taking out procession etc. for nomination.
