A case has been registered against the operator of Urban Pahari page in the city police station of Dehradun for spreading enmity in the society by circulating a fake video of Home Minister Amit Shah on the internet media. According to the police, this video has been circulated from a page named Urban Pahari on the internet media platform X. Investigation into the case has been started on the instructions of the SSP.
Instructions for investigation and action
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun Ajay Singh took cognizance of the video being circulated on internet media late on Wednesday evening based on misleading facts. On this, he alerted the Cyber Cell and Social Media Monitoring Cell and directed them to investigate and take action. This fake video was being broadcast on the X handle named Urban Pahari. In-charge Cyber Cell Dehradun Inspector Manoj Mainwal lodged a complaint about this matter in the city police station.
