Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed confidence that the Chardham Yatra starting from Friday in the state will break all its previous records. The state government is making efforts for safe Chardham Yatra. Chief Minister Dhami congratulated the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra and wished them a happy journey. While welcoming the devotees, he prayed to Baba Kedar, Maa Gangotri, Maa Yamunotri and Badri Vishal that like last year, this year too the Chardham Yatra should be completed with joy and pomp. The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously reviewing the preparations related to Chardham Yatra at every level. The effort will be that every devotee who returns home after the completion of the Yatra should take with him the golden memories of the time spent in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
Chardham Yatra celebration for the state
The Chief Minister said that Chardham Yatra is like a festival for the state. Lakhs of devotees from India and abroad come to Uttarakhand. More than 20 lakh passengers have registered so far this year. It is the effort of the government to provide every comfort and facility to the devotees during the journey, so that they decide to visit Uttarakhand again and again in the future and our tourism industry can get a boost. He appealed to everyone from the sanitation workers engaged in the Chardham Yatra to the police personnel and administrative officers deployed in security to do the best work at their level.
