Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the people who work selflessly in the field of medicine and health in the society always do public service. Without hope and expectation, the work of conducting public awareness towards health is definitely an act of virtue. Appreciating the women’s health mass movement program at the national level, he described it as a great campaign in the social sector. Sharing the experience of his stay at Mayawati Advait Ashram in Champawat, he said that there he met a doctor from Surat at Mayawati Hospital. He selflessly comes to the hospital of Mayawati Ashram to render his service for two months in a year, free of cost. He said that all such people who do public service selflessly are the ones who serve humanity. He said that a successful life is the one who remains dedicated in the service of others.
The Chief Minister said that there is no greater service than serving the people with a true and good heart, it gives you spiritual satisfaction. He said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world’s largest health sector scheme Ayushman Bharat Yojana is being run in India, in which a guarantee of treatment of Rs 5 lakh is available annually. He said that making people aware about anemia is really a great service to mother power. Various schemes are being implemented in Uttarakhand for the welfare of mother power.
The Chief Minister said that the double engine government has always made efforts with commitment to strengthen the growing steps in the interest of national interest and mother power. This innovative initiative will prove to be a revolutionary step in the direction of gynecological treatment in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and other areas of India by fulfilling its objective. He expressed the hope that similar efforts will definitely prove fruitful in the direction of making the mother power of Devbhoomi strong and safe.
In the program, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that many schemes are being implemented in the field of Uttarakhand state health. He said that our state has the third place in blood donation in the whole country, the first place in TV-free India and is included in the top 10 states in the field of fighting anemia, he told that so far Ayushman cards of 50 lakh people have been made in Uttarakhand state. Out of which 6 lakh people have got free treatment. Along with this, the work of making digital health ID will also be started soon in the entire state. He said that in relation to increasing the faculty stop in the medical colleges in the hilly areas, the state government has agreed to give 50 percent more salary to the faculty of the medical colleges in the hilly areas, which will fill the shortage of faculty doctors.
