Revenue sub-inspector Vaibhav Pratap suspended

On the report of the SDM, District Magistrate Pauri issued the order of suspension on Tuesday 27 September. The investigation of the case has now been handed over to SDM Lansdowne.

Ankita’s body was recovered from Chila Barrage
The owner of the resort Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar and assistant manager Ankit Gupta are accused of killing Ankita, a resident of Srikot in Yamkeshwar block of Uttarakhand’s Pauri district.
He had thrown Ankita alive in the Chila canal on 18 September. The matter opened on the information of a friend of Ankita’s Jammu resident. The police had recovered Ankita’s body from the Chila Barrage on Saturday.
