
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Chennai on Wednesday evening to invite investors in view of the Global Investors Conference. Investors will be invited for tourism and agriculture as well as other sectors through a road show organized on Thursday in Chennai. After this, on October 28, the Chief Minister will hold a road show in Mumbai. On the same day, Cabinet Ministers Subodh Uniyal and Rekha Arya will hold a meeting with investors in Bengaluru regarding investment in information technology and dairy sector. A global investors conference is proposed to be organized in the state on December 7 and 8. In this investor conference, the state government has set a target of investment of Rs 2.5 lakh crore.
Agreement worth Rs 55 thousand crore for the conference
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is in charge of the promotion of the Global Investors Conference. In this series, along with visiting Britain and United Arab Emirates, he has also done a road show in Delhi. So far, agreements worth Rs 55 thousand crores have been signed for the conference.
Now the state government is conducting road shows at various places within the country. In this context, a road show is being organized in Chennai on Thursday. Along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj and Saurabh Bahuguna are also participating in it. In this road show, focus will be on health, pharma and energy sectors. After this, road shows have been organized in Mumbai on 28th October and Ahmedabad on 1st November.
Cabinet ministers will hold a meeting
The government has also assigned the responsibility to other ministers for the success of the investor conference. In this series, Cabinet Ministers Subodh Uniyal and Rekha Arya will hold a meeting with investors in Bengaluru on October 28. Secretary Dr. BVRC Purushottam and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey will also be present with him.
