The party has given him an important place in the list of star campaigners at the national level.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken over the responsibility as the star campaigner of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and then the assembly elections held in various states. The central leadership of the BJP had prominently included Chief Minister Dhami in the list of star campaigners fixed for various states including Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections.

If the BJP has made Chief Minister Dhami a star campaigner, then the important decision of his government is considered behind this. Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to get the Uniform Civil Code Bill passed from the Assembly and after the approval of the President, it has got this Act, which will be implemented this month. Chief Minister Dhami has been in the center of discussion across the country for this initiative. Along with this, he also garnered appreciation at the national level for strict laws to prevent cheating in recruitment examinations, strict action against love jihad, anti-riot law.
These decisions have increased the stature of Chief Minister Dhami. The big decisions of his government are being seen on a wide scale in the country. It is believed that in view of all this, the party has included him in the list of star campaigners in the Delhi Assembly elections.

Dhami has been placed in this list along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Manoharlal Khattar, Dharmendra Pradhan, Sardar Hardeep Puri, Giriraj Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. There are a total of 40 star campaigners in this list.
