After the Uniform Civil Code Bill was passed in the House on Wednesday, the last day of the Assembly session, BJP greeted Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami by showering flowers as soon as he reached the main gate of the Assembly building. He was also warmly welcomed in the program organized at the state BJP office. During this, loud fireworks were done and happiness was expressed by distributing sweets.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami said that the government has fulfilled the important promise made to the public in the form of Uniform Civil Code. Gradually all the states will adopt it and the entire country will be covered by the Uniform Civil Code law. After its implementation, misconduct, malpractice, disparity and inequality will all go away. This law will be most important for mother power. The Chief Minister said that in a country where mother power is worshipped, prosperity increases. This system will be implemented through the Uniform Civil Code. He said that thinkers like Baba Saheb, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay had envisioned a uniform law years ago.

The Chief Minister said that he has been informed that discussion on this bill has started in Rajasthan also. Certainly this bill will be beneficial for the entire society. He also expressed his gratitude to the expert committee that prepared the draft of this bill.

He said that Wednesday is a special day for the state. This will serve to guide all of us and boost our morale. He said that we all are working together under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister had said in Kedarnath that this decade will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The Uniform Civil Code Bill passed from Devbhoomi is an important step in this direction.
