CM Dhami inspired the youth, saying recruitment exams will continue in the state.

admin October 15, 2025

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the number of government jobs received by the youth of the state in the last four and a half years has doubled compared to the number of government jobs received since the formation of the state before his tenure. He stated that until now, this figure was over 25,000. With the appointment of 1,456 youth as assistant teachers and review officers on Tuesday, this figure has reached over 26,500. He stated that recruitment exams will continue in this manner. Youth must work hard to prepare for competitive exams. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure a fair and ideal examination system. No youth needs to worry. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to review officers and assistant review officers selected through the Public Service Commission and assistant teachers (LT) selected through the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) at Doon Medical College, Patel Nagar. Rajya Sabha member and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, MLA Vinod Chamoli, Education Secretary Ravinath Raman, Deependra Chaudhary, SCERT Director Bandana Garbyal, and Secondary Director Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati were present on the occasion.

Not a single guest teacher will be removed: Dhan Singh Rawat
At the appointment letter distribution ceremony, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that LT teachers were appointed against vacant positions. Therefore, no guest teachers currently working in any school will be removed. However, guest teachers are being affected by the newly appointed LT teachers in some schools in Kumaon. They have also started sending complaints to the Education Minister. The Education Minister stated that those youth who did not receive their appointment letters on the spot will be provided with appointments in Nainital for those from the Kumaon division, and in Srinagar, Garhwal for those from the Garhwal division. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that the process of appointments in the Education Department will continue. Soon, appointments will be made to over 1,500 BRC, CRP, 2,100 basic teacher positions, and 2,400 Class IV positions. He informed all appointed teachers that they are being appointed to remote areas. They are required to serve in remote areas for a few years.

166 LT teachers will serve in accessible areas for 15 days
The Education Minister stated that the 166 newly appointed LT teachers will serve in accessible areas for only 15 days. During this period, LT teachers who have served in remote areas for 10 or more years will be transferred to accessible areas, and then newly appointed teachers will be sent to fill the vacant positions in remote areas.
