Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has summoned cabinet minister Premchand Agrawal after the video of the brawl went viral. On Wednesday, the CM will seek an explanation from him about the entire controversy. Taking cognizance of the incident, the CM has ordered Director General of Police Ashok Kumar to conduct a fair investigation. He has urged that the entire episode should be properly investigated. The Chief Minister will return from New Delhi on Wednesday.
BJP president said, restrained conduct is necessary in public places
BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt strongly condemned the scuffle case of Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal. In 2018, while being the then Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, he came into controversies regarding the job of his son in the Jal Sansthan through the Upanal. In Rishikesh itself in 2019, during a program of the Union Jal Shakti Minister, the video of a heated clash between him and Bhagat Ram Kothari, who was in charge of the then government, went viral. This dispute had reached the central leadership. In the present government, before going on Germany tour, Agarwal made 74 transfers in the Urban Development Department, which was stopped by CM Dhami.
