Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. The Chief Minister has paid tribute to all freedom fighters, immortal martyrs, heroic women, state agitators including soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the nation.
Uniform civil code will be implemented in the state
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand has also contributed in this golden journey of India. He said that soon Uttarakhand would become the first state in the country to implement Uniform Civil Code. This is an important step taken ahead of the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.
Uttarakhand is also a heroic land along with Devbhoomi
In his message to the people of the state on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the general public’s view on the Uniform Civil Code is also positive. Other states will also like the draft of Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is Dev Bhoomi as well as Veer Bhoomi. From here, heroes and heroines from almost every family are giving their cooperation in the defense of the country.
The state government has built Shaurya Sthal in honor of the martyrs. It has been decided to include a member of the family of the martyred soldiers in a government job. The pension of freedom fighters and brave women has also been increased.
3 cylinders are being given free in a year
He said that honoring mother power has been the tradition of the state. To make women financially prosperous, under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, loans up to five lakh are being given to women self-help groups without interest. A law has been made in the state for horizontal reservation for women in government jobs. Three cylinders are being given free of cost in a year for the Antyodaya free gas refill scheme.
In the larger interest of the youth, the future of the youth has been secured by enacting the country’s strictest anti-copying law. Initiative is being taken to end the interview process in Group C. A venture fund of Rs 200 crore is being created to promote startups in the state. Steps are being taken to make the state a solar energy region.
Mission Apple begins
The state government has started Mission Apple to encourage horticulture. The state government has resolved to make Devbhoomi the best and leading state in the country by 2025. Continuous work is being done for this. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work on schemes worth Rs 1.50 lakh crore is going on in Uttarakhand.
The state government is working with the motto of inclusive development in the spirit of balanced and equal development of all areas of the state. He has also expected everyone to be helpful in making Uttarakhand an advanced, superior and progressive state.
