On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami discussed in detail with Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Spokesperson Sambit Patra at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding the preparations for the Tricolor campaign in Uttarakhand. Sambit Patra said that on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every house tricolor campaign is being conducted under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. In this, from August 13 to August 15, all the countrymen have been requested to hoist the tricolor in their respective homes. This is not just a government programme. This is a mass movement in which everyone’s participation is necessary. Publicity should be spread on a wide level for more and more people to join it. In particular, social media can be used. In his Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister has appealed to put the national flag tricolor in the social media account as DP and profile pic. All organizations should be taken together. School children and youth should be told the glories related to the independence of the country. Some amendments have been made in the flag code so that people can join this campaign.
