On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Munsiyari Festival 2022 organized at the Johar Club ground in Munsiyari. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Munsiyari Mahotsav is slowly making its mark as a world famous festival. Praising the natural beauty of Munsiyari, the Chief Minister said that the holy land of Johar is full of natural beauty and its history has also been very glorious. He said that the natural beauty of Munsiyari has attracted him since childhood. A beautiful place like Munsiyari is difficult to find not only in India but in the world. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced an amount of Rs 8 lakh for the Munsiyari Festival.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced opening of Eklavya Vidyalaya in Munsiyari, making Munsiyari a Nagar Panchayat, assistance for cow protection in Munsiyari, permission for grazing of goats and construction of a guard bridge in Bona village. . In order to promote local products, it was said that they should be used to the maximum.
Recalling the great personalities of Munsiyari area, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the land of Johar is the land of great social workers, thinkers, land surveyors and mountaineers. He recalled the great deeds of all the great personalities of the region by name.
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government is making progress in every field. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working for the development of the country’s border areas and villages. He has considered the border villages of the country as the first village of the country instead of considering it as the last village of the country. The Prime Minister has told everyone to spend 05 percent of his travel expenses on the purchase of local products, this will give recognition to our local products in the country and the world and our people will pay more attention to the production of local products and this will With the availability of means of employment and self-employment, the economy will also get strengthened.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is giving priority to the development of border areas. Regarding the development of Munsiyari area, the Chief Minister said that Munsiyari area is the main center of tourist attraction. The overall development of this area is included in the priority of the government. He said that the state government has made 66 announcements for the development of Munsiyari area, out of which 32 have been completed, efforts are being made at the district and state level to fulfill the remaining announcements.
The Chief Minister said that we are moving forward with the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Road map of development is being prepared through Chintan Shivirs for the development of the state. With everyone’s cooperation and trust, our efforts are continuing to include Uttarakhand in the leading states of the country by 2025.
District Panchayat President Pithoragarh Deepika Bohra, MLA Fakir Ram, Harish Dhami, District Magistrate Reena Joshi, Superintendent of Police Lokeshwar Singh etc were present on this occasion.
