Congratulating the Rotor Group, besides getting detailed information about the drone equipment being made with indigenous technology, the Chief Minister said that today is a very historic day for the state when the country’s largest and the state’s first modern drone technology factory was started. happened.
The Chief Minister said that India has been ahead in the field of knowledge science since time immemorial, Veda Puranas also mention modern aircraft like Pushpak Vimana. He said that today in the field of modern technology, India is on the way to become a world guru. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is working very fast in the field of drone technology and weapon manufacturing under Make in India. Today India is exporting arms to many countries, which is presenting India as a world power.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government and the Central Government are encouraging resourceless talents under Make in India, Start up India, Skill India. Uttarakhand is a very complex state in terms of geographical conditions, drone technology can prove to be very effective here. The Chief Minister said that all experts can send their suggestions to the government for how better drones can be used in the state. The state government will definitely take cognizance of important matters related to the state interest. He said that Drone Application Research Center DARK has been established in the state by the state government. The goal of our government is to reach the last person standing. We are dealing with the principle of choiceless resolution.
In the program, information was given by Rotor Group that this drone factory has the capacity to manufacture more than 150 survey drones per month and more than 50 advanced drones for the Indian Army. The factory will also have an independent training academy to train pilots in the safe and efficient use of drones as well as geospatial data generation.
Representatives of other institutions including MLA Roorkee Pradeep Batra, Survey of India, IIT Roorkee were present in the program.
