The Chief Minister asked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to approve the DPR submitted by BRO for Pithoragarh-Ascot motor road (km 2.81 to km 50.00) under NH-09, construction of Sitarganj-Tanakpur motor road in 04 lanes and under NH-731K. Request was also made regarding conversion of Majhaula-Khatima (13 km) motorway into four lanes.
