CM Pushkar Singh Dhami took a review meeting of divine calamity, construction agency, law and order and development works.

Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a review meeting of schemes costing more than 5 crores under Kumaon division was organized at Circuit House, Kathgodam. Presiding over the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami directed the divisional officers to work on the mantra of simplification, solution and disposal for the successful implementation of the schemes, so that maximum benefit of the schemes could be availed to the general public at all times.
• Expressing displeasure over not being present in the meeting by the competent officer from Drinking Water Corporation, Pithoragarh, the CM directed the Divisional Commissioner to seek clarification.
• Announcement for new mandate.
In the meeting, the Chief Engineer was apprised by the Engineers of PWD, National Highways, Irrigation and other departments that delay is being done by some contractors in the construction works of government developmental schemes, in this regard the Chief Minister has given instructions to all the construction agencies. That the progress should be made in the works by giving one last chance/warning to such contractors. If the contractor does not complete the work on time even after warning, then the concerned contractor should be debarred for a minimum period of 03 years so that he cannot participate in the government tender process.
Along with this, the Chief Minister said that the process of land acquisition for the works of the National Highway does not take much time, for this, only the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate will be the ex-officio member for the work of the competent authority for land acquisition. Earlier, for the work related to land acquisition in the national highway, Kala had to be notified from the government level, which used to take more time and delay in development works.
Infrastructure development under Manaskhand corridor.
42 temples have been identified under the Manas Khand Corridor, through which the network of roads will be laid and widened in a phased manner. With the development of roads, tourism will also be easy and accessible for tourists, as well as the economy will also be strong.
• Sources of revenue growth should be increased.
For the development of the state, it is necessary that the sources of revenue should also be developed, for this, the Divisional Commissioner was instructed to review the revenue, GST department and other departments.
• Officers should be alert and alert for disaster.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that any kind of disaster cannot be prevented but the impact of disaster can be reduced. For disaster mitigation, all the officers should be alert and alert so that relief and rescue work can be done in time. Timely supply of ration, medicine and other basic necessities should be ensured in the disaster affected area. All the District Magistrates should keep a close watch on the sensitive areas.
• Delay in development works will not be tolerated.
The construction works that have been completed by the executing agencies should be taken up so that the purpose of the schemes is proved. The progress of the schemes should be kept in the tips by the officers, for this the officers themselves should visit the area and take review meeting.
• Work as Officer Mission Karmayogi.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to work under the Karmayogi concept of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Said that the officers should work in this manner, their tenure / service period should be known for special works.
• The state will celebrate silver jubilee in the year 2025.
In these three years, officers should identify schemes under best practices, so that the state can become a model for specific works and make its mark.
