Developed in an area of 12203 square meters at a cost of about 63 crores, this center has 825 audience capacity auditorium with modern sound, state level museum, museum, exhibition gallery, meeting hall and library.
The department has received three to four bookings for the month of July:
On July 12, after the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Himalayan Cultural Center under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, the committee decided to make this center available to various central and state government departments, semi-government departments, educational institutions, business organizations, private institutions, etc. Various rates have been set.

Admission of students will be free:
Entry to the museum will be free for students. The entry fee for the general public has been kept at Rs 30 per person per day while the entry will be free on every Wednesday. For booking, the applicant has to submit an application in the name of the member secretary of the Himalayan Cultural Center. There will be no booking of marriage festivals, stand-up comedy shows, and programs involving social harmony.
