The state government is now developing four new areas for various industries to bring the proposals received in the Global Investors Summit to the ground. These include Patwadagar in Nainital, Nagau in Chakrata, Dehradun and Dhanolti and Magra in Tehri Garhwal. About 106 acres of land has been marked here. During the Global Investors Summit held last year in the capital Dehradun, investors had shown interest in investing in various sectors. During this, investors in the service sector had suggested providing land in the hilly areas. In this sequence, the state government asked the Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board to mark these new areas.
23 acres of land marked in Nainital
In this series, four places have now been selected. Patwadagar in Nainital has been found suitable for opening premium resorts and organizing conferences and meetings. 23 acres of land has been marked here for this. Nagau located in Chakrata, Dehradun has been found suitable for high service sector.
Hotels and resorts to open in Tehri
7 acres of land of the state park located here is being marked for this. Dhanolti of Tehri Garhwal has also been found suitable for high service sector. Hotels and big resorts can be opened here. 2.5 acres of land has been seen here. Along with this, 74 acres of land of the state park has been marked in Magra of Tehri.
Meeting held under the chairmanship of CM
Amusement park, camping, hiking, premium resort and other activities can be conducted here. It is proposed to develop this area and give it to investors. In the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, officials of Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board gave information about the work done so far in this area.
Common people will also get room in the newly constructed Uttarakhand Niwas
State Bureau, Dehradun. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to make the newly constructed Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi available to the general public as well. He said that the system of room reservation in Uttarakhand Niwas should be changed and the rates should also be re-determined. The state government has recently constructed Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi. The government had recently issued an order regarding the availability of rooms in Uttarakhand Niwas with 50 rooms. It was said that only those from the Chief Minister to the MLA, Chief Secretary to the Secretary level and the Judge will get rooms. No arrangement was made to stay here for the Additional Secretary to others.
Instruction to make changes
After the order was issued, dissatisfaction was expressed over it. Taking cognizance of this, the Chief Minister has given instructions to change this system. He said that the government order issued for room reservation in Uttarakhand Niwas should be amended. Such arrangements should be made that rooms can also be made available to the general public on the basis of availability. Apart from this, he has also given instructions to re-determine the rates fixed for rooms and meetings. In this sequence, the State Property Department has now prepared a revised proposal. It has been sent to the Chief Minister’s Office for approval.
