It is in this sense that Dhami is seen in the role of a big star campaigner in the Himachal assembly elections. Dhami is constantly throwing himself in the election campaign. Like Uttarakhand, there has been a myth of changing power in every election in Himachal, BJP seems to be showing the way to Jai Ram Thakur to make good use of Dhami.
There is another interesting similarity between Uttarakhand and Himachal. Although the size of these two hilly states is small, but the line of contenders for the post of Chief Minister is unmatched from Dehradun-Shimla to Delhi.
MLA said, session should be held in Dehradun:
Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand buried under huge debt of thousands of crores. On 9 November 2000, when Uttaranchal, as it was named, came into existence as the 27th state on the country’s map, Dehradun was made the temporary capital.
After 20 years, Gairsain was declared the summer capital during the Trivendra government. Meaning the capital will remain Dehradun, but I do not know why the leaders of BJP and Congress have been avoiding accepting it. Now BSP and independent MLAs have done the work of removing the veil of misunderstanding of both of them.
Apart from two independent MLAs Sanjay Doval and Umesh Kumar, BSP MLA Mo Shehzad has raised questions on the propriety of the winter assembly session in Gairsain with their respective arguments. The point is also true, the capital is summer and the season is winter. When an MLA of a hill district says so, its deep implications have to be understood.
Karan, which idiom will work now:
The Congressmen of Uttarakhand are also following what is going on in the Congress which has ruled the country for the longest time. If G-23 remains in discussion at the national level, then by dividing it into two-three factions, the Congress party is doing the same thing.
Recently, former state president Pritam Singh had raised the issue of absence of in-charge Devendra Yadav at the time of Haridwar Panchayat elections, then in response, President Karan Mahra questioned his spectacles. Pritam, according to his habit, only said that he wears glasses, but his eyesight is not weak.
Now that in-charge Devendra Yadav came to Uttarakhand on a six-day tour, Pritam left for the assembly election campaign in neighboring Himachal. Actually, his assembly is adjacent to Chakrata Himachal, so it is also abound. Now I don’t know which idiom will be used to taunt Karan.
Mana reached Namo, now Congress is behind behind:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Mana, the last village of the country before Diwali. The Prime Minister’s program in Mana, situated on the China border near Badrinath Dham in Chamoli district, had deep implications. Especially because Uttarakhand is a military dominated state and ex-servicemen and their families play an important role in elections.
The Congress understood that something would have to be done in response to this, because only about one and a half years are left for the Lok Sabha elections. Uttarakhand is one of the states which are not under the ambit of the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi.
In such states, the Congress is conducting district-wise Bharat Jodo Yatra. In this episode, yatras will be taken out in each district from November 14 to 19. Interestingly, after Prime Minister Modi, now Congressmen are also reaching Mana. The party is starting the Bharat Jodo Yatra from here.
