The four -year term of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been completed. In these four years, the government has laid special emphasis on women empowerment. Now Chief Minister Dhami is going to give a gift of women policy to empower women in the fifth year. Soon the state’s first women’s policy is ready to be brought to the cabinet.
During the four -year tenure of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, continuous steps have been taken to strengthen power. In these four rains, several steps have been taken regarding women’s upliftment. In this episode, women have been given 30 percent reservation in government services. Reservation has been given to women from government jobs to cooperatives. All these are benefiting from women who are native to the state. The Dhami government has also implemented 33 percent women reservation in cooperative societies. Women’s reservation is already being given in bodies and panchayats in Uttarakhand. The government has also implemented the Mahila Sarathi Yojana as a pilot project in Dehradun district this year, under which women of the state are running auto rickshaws and two-wheelers and are working to bring passengers to their destination. Along with this, the government is also creating self -employment opportunities for women through Lakhpati Didi Yojana, Mukhyamantri Bahna Utsav Yojana, Single Mahila Swarozgar Yojana, Drone Didi Yojana.
Now the Chief Minister is preparing to bring a women’s policy in the fifth year of his tenure. Through this, the government will prepare a policy roadmap for the economic and social empowerment of women.
