National Old Pension Restoration Joint Morcha marched to the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday demanding restoration of old pension, in which top officials, members, teachers and officers of personnel organizations across the state participated. Everyone in one voice called for continuing the movement until the old pension is restored.
Employees gathered at the parade ground for the march to the Chief Minister’s residence. From here the procession proceeded to the Chief Minister’s residence. But the police stopped them by placing barricades in Hathibarkala. Due to which there was a heated clash between the police and the employees. The employees tried to break the barricading.
