The Army has taken up the task of extinguishing the massive fire that broke out on the roadside near Pines on Bhawali Road in Nainital. The hill above the pines houses the Air Force Station at Ladiyakanta. In such a situation, the fire should not reach the hill and if it gets out of control, then the Air Force helicopter has also reached there to control it. Which, if necessary, will extinguish forest fires from Saturday morning as per the instructions of the state government.
