The former Navy Chief along with his wife Lalita Ramdas undertook a padyatra along with Rahul Gandhi on the 57th day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Lalita Ramdas is the daughter of the first Indian Navy Chief, Admiral Ramdas Katari. Congress’ Telangana unit president Revanth Reddy, Lok Sabha member N Uttam Kumar Reddy and other party leaders also joined the padyatra. The yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, entered Telangana on 23 October. The yatra began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
