Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to investigate the madrasas running illegally in the state. In this sequence, the police will investigate it, as well as a committee will be formed in all the districts under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate, which will conduct the campaign to investigate the madrasas in coordination with various departments. This committee will submit its report to the government within a month. It is necessary for all the madrasas operating in the state to be registered with the Madrasa Board. At present 415 madrasas are being operated under the Madrasa Board. More than 40 thousand students are studying here. Along with this, complaints are coming about a large number of unregistered madrasas being operated in the state.
Funding from outside for the operation of madrasas
It also came to light that the operation of such madrasas is being funded from outside. Also, students from other states are also studying in them. There is also a possibility of illegal activities being conducted in these. Taking this complaint seriously, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Home Department and Police Headquarters to take action in this regard. In this sequence, now the police is preparing to investigate these madrasas. Inspector General of Police Law and Order Nilesh Anand Bharane said that complaints have been received about activities going on in various madrasas of the state. In such a situation, the madrasas which are not registered and are running illegally will be investigated thoroughly. In the sequence of the instructions of the Chief Minister, the police is going to conduct a detailed investigation into it.
He said that Chief Minister Dhami has also given instructions to form a committee under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. This committee will investigate these madrasas in coordination with various departments and submit its report to the government within a month.
Four new areas will be developed for investors in the service sector
Dehradun: The state government is now developing four new areas for various industries to bring the proposals received in the Global Investors Conference to the ground. These include Patwadagar in Nainital, Nagau in Chakrata of Dehradun and Dhanolti and Magra in Tehri Garhwal. About 106 acres of land has been identified here. During the Global Investors Summit held last year in the capital Dehradun, investors had shown interest in investing in various sectors. During this, investors in the service sector had suggested providing land in hilly areas. In this sequence, the state government asked the Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board to identify these new areas. In this sequence, four places have now been selected.
