G20 Summit Uttarakhand: Pilgrimage city is ready to welcome foreign guests, today’s Ganga Aarti will be special

Uttarakhand is fully prepared for the G-20 conference. On behalf of the Pauri district administration, the police team rehearsed the program to be held in Swargashram area on Wednesday. The guests coming to the conference on Wednesday evening will perform the evening Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan, so the entire area is decorated like a bride.
The ongoing preparations to welcome the guests were finalized on Tuesday. All around the grandeur and divinity will be visible to the guests. After the rehearsal, Senior Superintendent of Police Pauri Garhwal Shweta Choubey instructed the entire police force to perform duty with discipline following the security norms. All the policemen engaged in the conference were instructed to reach duty on time from today.
The Senior Superintendent of Police said that the entire area has been divided into five zones and 10 sectors. In view of the programme, Janaki Setu will be kept closed for the public from 1 pm to 10 pm. The railing on the three-lane system built on Janaki Setu has also been removed. Whereas Ram Jhula bridge will be open for all.

Bomb Disposal Squad Deployed:
For the safety of the guests coming from abroad for the G-20 Summit, the Bomb Disposal Squad checked all the places like Janki Pul, Parmarth Niketan Taxi Stand, Bagkhala Taxi Stand, Bhootnath Taxi Stand, near Vanprastha Ashram, Aarti Sthal etc. The bomb disposal squad will remain stationed here till the return of the guests.

Changed market picture:
On behalf of the district administration, all the shops located on both sides of the road and on the way to Parmarth via Janaki Setu from Narendra Nagar have been given a look. Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority has been given its responsibility. All the shops located in the market leading from Madhuban Ashram to Janki Setu are visible in one form. Both the bridges situated on the slope have been painted with pavements. The walls of all the shops and houses in the area are decorated with grand painting and appanage. A garden has been prepared on the left side of Janaki Setu. At the same time, the lighting of Janaki Setu remains the center of attraction.

Objection to the name of Rishikesh in Munikireti:
All the shops that have been built on the side of the road leading from Madhuban Ashram to Janaki Setu in Munikireti have been put together. The name boards of the shops have also been put up in the same way. Janaki Setu Rishikesh Marg has been written on these boards by MDDA. On which Municipal President Roshan Raturi, public representatives and citizens lodged objections.
Rafting will remain closed today:
Rafting to be held in Munikireti-Kaudiyala Eco Tourism Zone will remain closed on Wednesday in view of the G-20 conference. All foreign and Indian guests attending the conference will attend the Parmarth Niketan Ganga Aarti on Wednesday evening. Rafting in the Ganga has been stopped for a day on Wednesday by the Tehri district administration. Rafting affects the traffic system of the area.
The traffic of the concerned area will also be diverted. This decision has been taken keeping in mind that citizens and tourists should not face any problem due to this arrangement. In-charge Inspector Munikireti Ritesh Shah said that rafting has been banned on Wednesday on the instructions of the district administration.
