admin August 2, 2025

Under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Scheme, beneficiaries will now be given money through DBT to fill the cylinder. One lakh 84 thousand Antyodaya cardholders of the state will get its benefit. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave instructions to the officials during the review of the Food Department in the Secretariat. He said, it should be ensured that Antyodaya cardholders get 100 percent benefit of this scheme. The Food Department will make arrangements for this so that the beneficiaries can use this amount only to fill the cylinder. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also directed that the data of all the beneficiaries registered under the National Food Security Act should be updated. Senior citizens and other eligible people should not be deprived of ration due to biometric difficulties, in all such cases ration distribution should be ensured through offline authentication or alternative system. The current capacity of foodgrain storage and the physical condition of the warehouses should be reviewed and arrangements for protected and safe storage should be ensured. One Nation One Ration Card Scheme should be implemented effectively so that there is no obstacle in getting ration from any place. Monitoring of data related to transactions on e-Purniti portal should be ensured. Linking of Aadhar number and mobile OTP based distribution system should be strengthened. Fake ration cards should be identified and action should be taken against the concerned. CM said, dealers and officials who are negligent or irregular should be suspended immediately. Complete ration should be made available to all cardholders on time every month. Solid arrangements for pre-stocking should be ensured in remote and mountainous areas. The status of state warehouses should be reviewed and modernization and expansion should be done as per the need.

A buffer stock plan should be prepared for every district. Food grains should be supplied to mid-day meal and Anganwadi centers in a timely manner. At the same time, complaints received on the food grievance redressal system should be resolved in a timely manner. Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vice President Vishwas Dabur, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK. Sudhanshu, L. Fanai, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari etc. were present.
