
The state government is laying emphasis on startups to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. For this, a complete ecosystem has been developed in the state. So far, approval has been given to set up 13 incubators to help the youth to start startups. Now the government plans to open 30 new incubations in the state so that more and more youth can be helped to open startups.
Work to promote new innovations and industries:
At present, the state government is working to promote new innovations and industries. In this episode, the state government has formulated Startup Policy 2022. The policy aims to develop the startup ecosystem, build world-class institutional infrastructure and encourage youth.
Youth can start their innovation in this with small capital also. The government has set up incubation centers to help the youth to start startups. Incubation Center is a center where startups are provided all kinds of facilities and support. Incubation centers provide startups with technical support, legal documentation support, network, business connections, space to work and seed capital.
Permission has been given to open 13 incubation centers:
In this episode, permission has been given to open 13 incubation centers in the state. Presently there are 144 recognized startups in the state. The state government has a plan to promote 1000 startups in the state in the next five years. For this, the government has set a target of opening at least one incubation center in every district and 30 in the entire state. This is so that the youth do not have to face any difficulty in starting their startups.
One time seed funding up to Rs 10 lakh:
The government is providing one-time seed funding of up to Rs 10 lakh to recognized startups. It is also planning to provide a capital subsidy of up to one crore rupees for setting up a new incubation center and up to Rs 50 lakh for the expansion of the existing incubation centre.
