The discussion of the opposition meeting held in Bengaluru has now started reaching Uttarakhand. Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat said that the new name of the opposition alliance in Bengaluru as India (Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance) was a concrete and historic step. He said that this step has been taken in accordance with the feelings of 130 crore countrymen. Together we will fight the battle of India.
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that the name India represents the country’s diversity, social and cultural differences. Many of the 26 political parties in the alliance are ruling in different states.
Harish Rawat said that the new name also defines the nature of the alliance. Due to this, the forces creating political instability inside the country and those who misuse the system are going to face a tough challenge. As for the upcoming third phase, the steps will now be taken beyond Maharashtra’s soil.
‘NDA is bound to disintegrate’:
Harish Rawat said that those who were talking about disintegrating the opposition alliance even before it was formed due to weak and selfish conflicts, are restless. Now not the opposition alliance, but the disintegration of the NDA is certain. Teams will now come out from there. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that in Uttarakhand also the Congress will take forward the Bengaluru resolution by uniting all the small opposition parties.
‘Man-made conditions responsible for 60 percent of floods’:
He attacked the BJP government regarding the flood situation in the state. Harish Rawat said that 40 percent natural and 60 percent man-made conditions are responsible for the floods. Wherever the roads were blocked, there was water-logging. Urban planning is being mocked. There is waterlogging in the mountainous areas.
‘Smart City Concept Teasing’:
The former Chief Minister said that the drainage system has collapsed. The concept of Dehradun Smart City is teasing. Dehradun and Haridwar have become Jal Kumbh. In these circumstances, the government has done the work of sprinkling salt on the burn. Paddy, sugarcane and other crops in the fields, grains in the house were destroyed by the flood, but the government has not even distributed unnecessary help to the affected. State Congress President Karan Mahara, State Vice President Organization Mathuradatt Joshi, Chief Spokesperson of the party Garima Dasauni were also present on the occasion.
