If Aadhar card, voter ID is given to ineligible people, they will be dismissed, CM Dhami gave strict instructions in a meeting with District Magistrates

In Uttarakhand, personnel providing facilities like Aadhar card, voter ID, electricity and water connection to ineligible persons will be punished. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the services of such personnel should be suspended immediately and dismissal proceedings should be initiated. He also gave instructions to keep a constant watch on outsiders and suspicious activities in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with all the District Magistrates through virtual medium on Monday. The state government is taking strict action against illegal encroachment and suspicious activities.

Chief Minister gave instructions to be vigilant

Chief Minister Dhami said that vigilance should always be exercised in such cases. Along with this, the government is receiving complaints of providing facilities like Aadhar card, voter ID, electricity and water connection by unauthorized persons. The Chief Minister called it a matter related to the security of the state. He said that there will be no compromise with this. In such cases, the concerned personnel should be suspended immediately. Also, the dismissal proceedings should also be done immediately. He directed both the divisional commissioners to go to the field themselves and physically verify these instructions.

He directed to provide the progress report of all the works to the Chief Minister’s Office before the next review meeting. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, there will be no compromise with the security of the state, the commissioner will visit the area

There will be continuous monitoring of outsiders and suspicious activities, will send report to the Chief Minister’s Office

DM should conduct regular public hearing

The Chief Minister said that prompt resolution of public grievances should be given top priority. This will ensure transparency and accountability in the functioning of the government and administration. The District Magistrate should conduct regular public hearing.

It should be ensured that the general public does not make unnecessary rounds of government offices. He directed to take action against the personnel who delay in the work. He also directed to dispose of the complaints received regarding electricity bills immediately and to expedite the process of installing smart meters.
